Returns the physical OS path of the virtual directory of this Web Server application. In short it maps the virtual directory defined in IIS to a physical path. Can be used as a 'base url' for Web applications to base relative URls on.

This is an IIS5 and later feature only and it returns the value of the APPL_PHYSICAL_PATH server variable if available (only in the ASP.NET Handler or .NET Core Middleware Server). If the variable is not available the Processes configuration Process.oConfig.cHtmlPagePath` value is used for the base path.
